For promoting biotechnology, the State is in urgent need of skilled and trained manpower. Skilled manpower can bring about a revolutionary change in the BT sector. The Council is engaged in raising the skills of Biotechnology in the State by way of the following initiatives :
Organizing Training Programs for:
- Students of M.Sc/M.Tech. Biotechnology: To upgrade their skills by providing hands-on trainings in diverse areas of biotechnology and equipping them with desired traits
- Faculty of Biotechnology: To augment their skills and knowledge with current trends and techniques in Biotechnology
Fellowship Schemes :
- Council initiated IMBIBE Fellowship for students to pursue Ph.D in the field of Biotechnology
Institute of Life Sciences & Technology:Establishment of prestigious National level Institute of Life Sciences & Technology for quality education and research
